Fearing to lose his beloved boyfriend after a long illness, the artist manipulates the photo documentation of their performance together  "Think of me, sometimes" (2015).
By stitching the figure of his partner with a very dense white silk and cotton embroidery, Ruben’s image appears as in an attempt to hug someone who’s not there, holding a long craved promise of endurance.
