Title: “can you please hug me”

Duration: 120’ (or less\ until the performers can last)

Equipment required: 5 microphones; 1 spotlight; speakers; 1 plinth (1m high)

Performer n. 1

Performer n. 2

The performance takes place in the centre of the main stage.

The audience is on the stage together with the performers, but they cannot get more closer than 2 metres from the point where the action is taking place.

A spotlight is illuminating the action, and the action only.

When the audience is allowed on the stage, the action has already began.

Performers are both naked.

Performer n. 1 is standing on the main stage next to a plinth.

Performer n. 2 is standing on the plinth next to performer n. 1.

During the entire duration of the performance, “performer n. 1” by embracing “performer n.2” just above his waist, shakes his body with no break.

In case Performer n.2 falls from the plinth, Performer n.1 would take him back on the plinth and keep shaking his body until the end of the performance.

The end of the performance will be declared when assistants will switch on the lights and the audience will be kindly asked to leave the stage but the action is still on.
